SKF names Guempel aftermarket sales director

SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM), North America has named Jeff Guempel automotive aftermarket director of sales, effective immediately.
The company said he will serve as the sales leader for SKF's independent U.S. automotive team, working closely with sales managers and sales agencies on a regional level.
Prior to taking on his new role with SKF, Mr. Guempel focused his efforts as the automotive program group sales director, preceded by his position as SKF's western regional sales manager.
"Jeff's experience and background will serve him well in this new role," said Tom O'Brien, vice president of automotive sales, VSM. "With his proven track record of over 30 years of automotive aftermarket experience, we are confident that Jeff will continue to bring great success and overall sales growth to this important part of our business."
Before joining SKF in 2003, Mr. Guempel worked with Bondo Corp., Midas International Inc. and Federal Mogul Corp. He holds a bachelor's of science in business administration degree with a focus in marketing from the University of Missouri.
SKF is a global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems and services that include technical support, maintenance and reliability services, engineering consulting and training.
